In 1998, I became a NASA NEW educator at Langley Research Center in VA. I have been actively presenting NASA PD programs, and recently completed the Mars Exploration, Lunar Educator, and DREAM2Explore Programs at the NASA Goddard Space Flight Center. During 1997-2011, I taught science lab at Beech Springs and Berry Shoals Intermediate School, and then 9/10th grade Physical Science at James F. Byrnes High School and the Byrnes Freshman Academy. In 2011, I retired from K-12 science teaching, but now teach freshman Biology Labs and Physical Science Lecture/Lab as an Adjunct Professor of Science at USC Upstate.
