I have taught all around the state for the last 28 years. I spent 13 years in the Midlands and Lowcountry. I have spent the last 15 of those years back home in the Upstate. I love technology and using new technology in the classroom will keep me in education for more years. I remember being excited at being one of the first teachers to have a cream-colored desktop, a dot matrix printer, and the Internet. It also made using overhead projectors easier after being covered in chalk for about my first 5 years. I learned how to make a classroom website using HTML about 20 years ago and fell in love with anything dealing with technology in the classroom. I am also a Google Certified Level 1 and 2 Educator.

We need to be able to catch the interests and attention of kids today. Technology will allow this and make our job much easier as time goes on.
