Exploring with Ozobots
Ozobots are programmable robots. Students can use a series of colors and lines to represent code. The robots read the lines and follow the color coded instructions. As they progress to the next level students can use apps and websites to program the Ozobots using snap together codes that are uploaded to the robot. The robot will then act out the codes. Coding Ozobots can be used in many content areas including math, social studies (mapping skills), and science. This lesson will cover the basics of programming Ozobots with color coded lines and then with apps. Ozobots are compatible with apps on Chromebooks, iPads and laptops. Please bring one of these devices to explore with.
