Oh The Places You'll Go: Google Maps

Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule and see who's attending!

What if we could travel with our students to the Serengeti, map out important WWII battles, or trace the steps of the Civil Rights Movement? What if our students could experience the Globe Theatre or discover the area/perimeter of Angkor Wat? With the aid of Google Maps, all of these excursions and activities are possible. In this session, we will learn how to build collaborative and informative maps. Although the classroom applications are limitless, we will brainstorm together and discuss ways to create, integrate, and utilize such tools in a practical, standards-based manner.
