Bridging Gaps in Concepts Using Stop Motion Animation

Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule and see who's attending!

Stop motion animation can give life to what could be mundane and difficult to teach concepts. Attendees will be shown how a deeper understanding of curriculum can be gained through using stop motion animation projects. This session will feature how to set up and execute the lesson, examples of student work, as well as time and guidance in order to develop a lesson plan for yourself. The High School Science classroom will be highlighted in this presentation, but any discipline is welcome and encouraged to attend. We will also attempt to create a stop motion project based on a concept, that is audience contributed, on the spot! Bring a device, smartphone, tablet, laptop, etc.
