Coding and Robotics in the Classroom

Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule and see who's attending!

In this session, participants will play with robots and coding programs in order to determine how they can incorporate these tools in the classroom. Sample lessons will be provided for coding and robotics. We will play with Scratch and connect it with Writing. Wonder Workshop robots Dot and Dash will be used in connection with Reading. We will pair Science with Ozobots. Beebot will help us with Social Studies. We will work with Osmo and math. This will be a hands-on self paced class where teachers play and explore, then build a lesson with a robot or coding program.
