Dive into New Depths of Knowledge with Technology

Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule, view media, leave feedback and see who's attending!

In this session, you will learn how to use technology to increase the rigor and complexity of student tasks in exciting and meaningful ways. Rigor is a huge buzzword in education. How can we increase the rigor in our classrooms without overwhelming students and increasing our own workload? We will use the SAMR and DoK models as our guide in designing higher-order thinking activities that utilize technology. Students in your classroom will have the opportunity to expand their knowledge, extend their thinking, and redefine their tasks. The technology resources presented will include content creation apps and websites along with G Suite tools to help you manage it all. You are encouraged to bring your own devices to explore and interact.
